Sharon (Simmons) Connor

Sharon Simmons Connor, a resident of Albuquerque since 1973, died Sunday, March 3, 2019 at the age of 83. Sharon was born in Knoxville, TN, a Southern woman at heart who fell in love with New Mexico and adopted Albuquerque as her home.

She is survived by her children, Kevin Connor and wife, Claudette, Kelly Greeninger and husband, Todd and Christopher Connor; her beloved grandchildren, Sean Connor and wife, Emily, Aubrey Connor and husband, Aaron, Sara Solis and husband, Chris, Kelsey Connor and her fiancé, Nick Robles, Elena Scott and husband, Adam, Maria Koegl and husband, Mychael, China Connor, Dani Shipp and husband, Shawn and Sarah Maestas. Also, her great-grandchildren, Mia, Alyssa, Austin, Sofia, Mattis, Amelia, Carson, Daly and Lorraine; other family members, sister, Patsy Coffey and husband, Wayne; Aunt, Jo Maniago; and sister-in-law, Nancy Simmons.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Ronald Patrick Connor; her father, Robert Simmons; mother, Jerri Barker; brother, Mike Simmons; and son, Patrick.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the home of Kevin and Claudette on Saturday, March 9, 2019.

In lieu of flowers the family is asking donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
