Scott Cameron Thomas

Scott Cameron Thomas was born June 2, 1954 in Omaha, Nebraska. He passed peacefully at home on April 11, 2015 with his family by his side after a short battle with cancer. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who spent more than 40 years excelling in the car business. He was known for his generosity and his willingness to help anyone he could. He also enjoyed golfing, yard work and traveling. Scott is preceded in death by his father, Marion Albert Thomas, and his mother, Dinah Moormann and her husband, Bill Moormann; his brother, Steven Thomas; son, Casey Thomas and grandson, Thomas Seth Mitchell. He is survived by his loving wife, Betty Thomas; his mother-in-law, Sarah Jameson; son, Todd Webb and his wife, Annie; daughter, Misty Maes and her husband, John; daughter, Jennifer Thomas Mitchell; grandchildren Micah Shaw and his wife, Meghan, Amanda Jewell-Montano, Samuel Scott Webb, Jessica Waggoner, Reed Mitchell and Ella Mitchell. He is also survived by his brother, Jeff Thomas, and many nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed by friends and family who knew and loved him. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, April 16, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at FRENCH - Westside. A Graveside Service will be held Thursday, April 16, 2015 at 2:15 p.m. at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
