Sarah Jean Davis

March 18, 1934 — March 19, 2024

Sarah Jean Davis was born on March 18,1934 to Homer and Elizabeth Parker in Laurel, Mississippi. In September of 1952, Jean met and fell in love with Dean Davis of Pocatello, Idaho, who was serving in the Air Force. They were married on May 13, 1953. Dean's Air Force career took them to Illinois and then Morocco. After Dean left the Air Force, they moved with their children to Pocatello and then in 1958 moved to Albuquerque, NM where she remained until her passing on March 19, 2024.

Jean loved to cook, sew, decorate cakes, whistle, write letters and serve those around her. Jean loved her family and was a wonderful example to them of love and service.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dean Davis; parents, Homer Parker and Elizabeth Witt; her sister, Glenda Parker; brother Henry Parker; and grandson, Robert Davis.

She is survived by her four children: Jerry Davis, Steve Davis (Brenda), Cindi Parker (Rick), and Sharon Kay Petmecky (Don); her brother, George Parker (RaNae); many grandchildren; great-grandchildren with two on the way; and nieces and nephews.
