Sara Louise Murphy

Sara Louise Murphy, 63, passed away August 4, 2018. She is survived by her husband, Steve Wix; her children, Genevieve, and Lillian Murphy-Wix; and her grandchildren, Thomas, Atticus, and soon-to-be-born Sebastian. She is also survived by her sisters, Patricia, and Barbara; and brother, James. She also leaves behind numerous friends and family members who loved her dearly. Sara was preceded in death by her parents, James and Virgina; her sister, Karen; and nephew, Donnie.

Sara was a mother, a wife, a teacher, an anthropologist and a dear friend. Sara had a passion for knowledge and education, a love for the outdoors and music, and a desire for fairness and equality. Sara was devoted to her family, friends and pets. She would often be found outdoors finding delight in flowers and sunshine. She had the most vibrant personality and was full of joy. She had the amazing ability to make those around her smile and feel loved and appreciated.

A Celebration of Sara's Life will be held Sunday, August 19, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at The Inn at Paradise.
