Santiago I. Jaramillo, 79, passed away on March 15, 2016, peacefully at home. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Bertha L. Jaramillo; sons, Santiago J. Jaramillo and wife Angela, David Paul Jaramillo and wife Mary Helen; daughter, Rebecca Montoya and husband Patrick; one brother, Rudy Jaramillo and wife Sennie; grandchildren, Joseph, Andre, Jordan, David, Elysia, Matthias, Victoria, Aidan, and Vanessa; and one great grandchild Zené�n Montoya.
Santiago was born and raised in El Rito, New Mexico. As a young man, he and his wife Bertha moved to California where they started their family. He and Bertha eventually relocated to Albuquerque and made it their permanent home. Santiago was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, and friend to many. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Santiago's Life Celebration will begin with a visitation at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, March 21, 2016 at FRENCH - Wyoming followed by a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. The funeral mass will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at the Queen of Heaven Church, 5311 Phoenix Ave. NE. The burial will take place on Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at the Santa Fe National Cemetery.
