Sandra Lee Witt passed away October 23, 2013 in St. Louis, MO at the age of 60. A cherished wife, daughter, sister, mother, and friend, she was also a much beloved teacher at Desert Ridge Middle School and Los Ranchos, MacArthur, and S.Y. Jackson Elementary Schools. Sandra was well known by organizations and individuals for her selfless efforts to encourage, support, and comfort others. Her large circle of friends appreciated her generous, thoughtful spirit. Born in Florida and raised in Pennsylvania and California, Sandra had a teaching degree from San Diego State University and a Masters Degree from the University of New Mexico. At the center of her life was her beloved family. Sandra is survived by her parents, Donald and Audrey Mallick of Lancaster, CA; Von Witt, her husband of more than 35 years; son, Dr. Chad Witt and his wife, Dr. Jennifer York and their children, Adelyn and Hudson of St. Louis, MO; son, Keith Witt, his wife Amanda Solomon-Witt and their children, Noah Solomon and Jadyn Witt of Albuquerque, NM; son, Scott Witt and his girlfriend Amber Langefels of Clearwater Beach, FL; and brothers, Karl, Dave, and Darren Mallick and their families in California. The memorial service will be held at St. Stephen's United Methodist Church, 4601 Juan Tabo Blvd NE, on Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at 10:00 AM.
