Sandra (Broome) Weeke, age 79, passed away in Albuquerque, NM on March 29, 2016, after a brief illness. Sandy was born in Lubbock, TX on March 29, 1937 to George and Beth Broome. Sandy greatly enjoyed travel, her ranch in Colorado, and her family. We had more good times than can be counted. She worked for APS and UNM, but her proudest professional achievement was as founder and president of Broome-Harral, Inc. an event-planning service that served many New Mexico organizations.
She is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, Don Weeke; her sons, Don (Carol) of Windsor, CO and George Love of Nathrop, CO; and her grandson, Ross Love of Fort Collins, CO. She also leaves behind her good friend and companion Maddy, her Springer Spaniel, who will miss her forever.
