Sandra Jean-Bordelon, 71, beloved mother, passed away on April 9, 2016.
Sandra was born in Ruston, Louisiana on September 28, 1944. She graduated from Louisiana Tech University with a bachelor's degree in education and later earned her master's degree at Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas. Sandra was a dedicated kindergarten teacher and loved teaching all of the children in her classes.
She fell in love with New Mexico and moved to Albuquerque in 1993. She enjoyed hiking, gardening with native desert plants and taking daily walks with her dog.
Sandra is survived by her two daughters, Wendy Timmons and Sandy Timmons. She will be greatly missed by her friends and family.
A Memorial Service will be held Friday, April 15, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. at FRENCH - Westside. A Reception will follow.
