Sandra Sue Ikelman

On Friday, July 27, 2018, Sandra Sue Ikelman, loving wife, and mother of two children, passed away at age 72.

Sandy was born on March 20, 1946 in Gilmer, TX to Frank and Bertha Murray.  On June 22, 1991, Sandy married Kenneth Ikelman and together they raised two daughters, Amy and Becky, and two sons, Stefan and Danny.  Sandy and Ken were the proud owners of Professional Inspection Service for 23 years and made many lifelong friends all over the United States while running their company. Sandy was a very creative person and loved to paint and write.  She also had her Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism.  Sandy loved playing softball and watching her husband play softball.  She was a crossword fanatic and watched Jeopardy every night without fail.  Sandy loved her cat, Diego, who will miss her dearly.

Sandy was preceded in death by her father and mother, Frank and Bertha; and her brother, George.  She is survived by her husband, Ken; her two daughters, Amy and Becky; her two step-sons, Stefan and Danny; her two brothers, Brent and Shane; her grandchildren, Tyler and Taylor; and many other loving family members and friends.

Services will be held at Saturday, August 4, 2018, 12:00 p.m. at FRENCH - Lomas.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to PAWS and Stripes www.pawsandstripes.org or the Wounded Warrior Foundation www.woundedwarriorproject.org.
