Samuel Tarin, a longtime resident of Las Cruces and Hatch, NM returned to his heavenly home on Sunday, July 23, 2017 in Albuquerque, NM. His faith in the Lord sustained him through an extensive health battle and ultimately gave him eternal peace.
Samuel entered this world on March 11, 1955 in Post, TX. After attending NMSU for a couple of years, he followed in his father's footsteps and became a licensed contractor, building beautiful, custom homes in the Las Cruces area. Samuel was an avid reader, enjoyed attending all sports events and car shows, loved to design beautiful landscapes, enjoyed playing golf, loved watching Old Western movies with his grandchildren and was a huge UNM Lobo fan.
Samuel is preceded in death by his parents, Pablo and Manuela Tarin, as well as his nephew, Randolph Scott Ashby. He is survived by his two sons, Ivan (Diana Gandara) and Abraham Tarin; his daughter, Vanessa Tarin-Carrasco (Omar Carrasco); and 3 beloved grandchildren; his brothers, Eli and Salomon Tarin; his sisters, Sara, Elizabeth and Rachel Tarin, Delilah Yao, Esther Tarin-Trujillo and Jovita Tarin-Tinner; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Samuel was laid to rest on July 27, 2017 at Sunset Memorial Park in Albuquerque, NM. Samuel leaves behind the beautiful legacy of family and unconditional love to all his siblings, children and grandchildren. Please visit our online guest book for Samuel Tarin at www.frenchfunerals.com
