Born on February 19, 1938, in Raton, NM, Sammy was a true testament to hard work and perseverance. He obtained his High School Diploma and embarked on a successful career as a Line Driver, a role in which he excelled as a result of his unwavering commitment and strong work ethic. Sammy dedicated countless hours on the open road, ensuring that the wheels of commerce kept turning.

Passionate about his faith, Sammy was a cherished member of the First Baptist Church of Bosque Farms, where he found solace and community. He found great joy in connecting with others and sharing stories of his adventures on the road and his love for the outdoors. Sammy's true passion lay in hauling hay and working with his beloved cattle, potatoes, and feed. A true master builder, he used his time off to construct a beautiful house in Folsom, NM, showcasing his creativity and attention to detail.

Sammy's legacy extends beyond his professional achievements and hobbies. He was a devoted family man, survived by his children, Jimmy Adams, Tammy Adams, Jeanne Adams and his step-children Lisa Smith and Billy Guthrie. His presence will forever be cherished by his brother, Vernie Adams, and brother-in-law, Larry Cox.
