Sally Ann Stout of Albuquerque, New Mexico passed away on Monday, February 13, 2023. She was born in Waterloo, Iowa, daughter of the late Leo and Margaret page. Sally attended the University of Iowa and graduated in 1960 with a degree in General Science with a certificate in dental hygiene. She married James Stout on August 20, 1960, whom she'd known since she was five years old. Sally devoted her life to the Lord and adored her church family. She was a strong Bible teacher and a loving wife and mother. She was an avid reader and writer who loved a good story and was never far from her next cup of tea. She loved to laugh, have fun, and was proud of her Irish heritage. She took great joy in sharing the annual celebration of Saint Patrick's Day.
Sally is survived by her son, Timothy Stout (Daniel Falcone); daughter, Ellen Steele (Jack Steele), and her daughter, Pamela McCaskill (Marc McCaskill). She is also survived by her grandchildren, Jacoby Steele (Salena Steele), Kaily Jones (David Jones), Leah Hersey (Nathan Hersey), and Emma Register (Daniel Register). She also had five great-grandchildren, Silas, Eli, Jeriah, Liam, and Evelyn.
Sally was laid to rest in the Santa Fe National Cemetery in Santa Fe, New Mexico with her husband, James A. Stout on Friday, March 17, 2023.
She spent her final days with her family, and in the tender care of the Scott's House residence for end-of-life and respite. She received such support and care that she had hoped others could also benefit from their service. The family requests that all contributions be sent to
