Sally Bishop

June 5, 1934 — August 4, 2012

BISHOP, SALLY ARLENE MEMA
Sally went to be with Jesus Saturday, August 4, 2012. She was born on June 5, 1934 in Altmar, NY to Fredrick Dodge and Francis Michel. Sally's childhood was spent with her dear grandparents, Edith and Alfred Waggoner. At 19 years of age, she married Walter H. Bishop and moved to Malden, MA. They moved from there to Syracuse, NY and raised four children. Eight years ago they moved to Albuquerque, NM. Sally was a fun-loving, supportive wife. She will be remembered for her interesting sense of humor. She possessed a positive outlook on life and a general state of contentment. As the Bible teaches, take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sally was a living example of this verse. Sally was an avid crafter, sitcom follower, and professional smoker (her words, not ours). She was well known for her witty anecdotes for which people will still repeat. Sally is survived by her beloved children, Robin Coletta, Tammie DeSeyn, Donald Bishop, and Thomas Bishop. She is also survived by her 13 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; her sister, Pam Allen and brother, David Michel. She is predeceased by her precious husband, Walter H. Bishop, whom she was reunited with in heaven.
