Sally Berger

Sally Berger, 82, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, and aunt died peacefully on Sunday, October 8, 2023. Sally was born on August 3, 1941, in Miami Beach, FL, to Philip and Irene Biblo, and her older brother Martin (Marty) Biblo.

Sally is survived by her daughters, Amy Berger-Martinez and Faith Phillips (Ron); granddaughters, Maddie and Ivy Martinez; her lovely nieces; and many life-long friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Marty; and her loving husband and best friend of almost 60 years, Meredith (Mike) Berger. She couldn't stay away from him any longer so had to join him.

Being an educator was very important to Sally, and she spent years teaching elementary school at APS. She would often bump into students years later, who remembered her very fondly!

Sally had a huge heart. She was compassionate and giving, she was an amazing mother and friend. She loved to volunteer at Popejoy and other venues and served as the neighborhood association president for many years. She loved having lunches with her friends, and spending lots of time with her family. She was an absolutely devoted mother and grandmother. We can't express how much we will miss her.
