Ryan James Ruckman

Ryan James Ruckman, 21, was called home to Heaven on Tuesday, January 12, 2021. Ryan was a cherished son, brother, and friend to many. He touched many lives in his short time on Earth. Ryan graduated from Cibola High School and Central New Mexico Community College. With an Associate’s Degree in Welding, Ryan had dreams of being a pipeline welder. Ryan constantly put the needs of others before his own, he energized other people even when he was going through hard times himself, and he cared deeply about those he loved. He will be remembered for his beautiful smile and his caring heart. He brought so much joy to everyone who experienced his kind personality and sense of humor. Ryan loved music, skiing, and playing his favorite video games with friends. Those who knew Ryan, even just for a short time, lost a shining light in their lives. Ryan is survived by his loving parents, Kurt and Mary Ruckman; his sister, Rachel Ruckman and her husband, Alex Anastassatos; and many other family members and friends. The family held a small memorial on January 17th. An interment will be held on February 1st, 2021 at Sunset Memorial Park in Albuquerque.
