Ruth McDonald

MCDONALD, RUTH ANNMrs. Ruth Ann McDonald passed away February 15, 2013. She was born July 3, 1921 in Grand Junction, Colorado to Lee and Jessie Shelhamer, the fifth of six children. After the war, she settled in Albuquerque (1948), where she lived most of her life. She married Elmo Howard McDonald (now deceased) and raised two children; Randall Craig McDonald (deceased) and Jeffrey David McDonald. After a forced absence of thirteen years, Ruth returns 'home' to New Mexico to remain with her beloved husband of fifty years. She is survived by; Randall's wife, Meryl, daughter Amanda, Amanda's husband, Michael McDaniel and their newish son, Noah. A Service will be held Saturday, February 23, 2013, 6:00 p.m. at FRENCH-Lomas. Burial will be at the Santa Fe National Cemetery on Monday, February 25, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America.
