Ruth Helen Copley

Age 97, a resident of Albuquerque for 37 years, died Thursday, December 6, 2012. She is survived by daughter, Mary (George) Novotny of Albuquerque, NM; sister, Mildred Metzger; granddaughter, Jenny Anna Devenport, and great-grandson, Erik Paul Devenport. Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Elton C. Copley; parents, Rudolph and Marie Jenny; sisters, Eunice Beran, Fern Baird, Edna Napier; brothers, Wilbur, Arthur and Bud. Ruth was a member of Faith Lutheran Church. Services and Interment will take place at a later date. Ruth started teaching country school at the age of 16yrs and retired from the Monticello Iowa School System in 1972. She was remembered for her great sense of humor and had many friends.
