Ruth Grace (Zachary) Bowers

Ruth Grace (Zachary) Bowers was born on November 14, 1932. She left this world and entered into the arms of her Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, April 13, 2021. She was the daughter of Pastor Jesse Cordell and Laura Zachary. "Ruthie" had nine siblings: Dorothy, Zack, Donald, Jimmy, Jackie, David, Phillip, Carol, and Dick.

She was so loved and adored by her only son, Michael McDaniel and seven daughters: Peggy, Dianna, Jimi, Debbie, Karen, Leslie, and Rosie.
Ruthie was happiest around her many grandchildren; 19 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren.
She was not only "Mom" to her own children but to numerous children in the community. Many children lived with and learned from Ruthie and her late husband, Wayne Bowers. Having worked with CYFD, she leaves behind an extended family of children and grandchildren. Her greatest legacy was teaching her large family respect, kindness, compassion, and faith in the Almighty God.

A visitation will be held on Monday, April 26, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. followed by a Funeral Service at 12:00 p.m., Calvary Chapel Rio Rancho, 138 Frontage Road NE, Rio Rancho, NM. Pastor Tracy Burns will be officiating.
A private burial will take place in Santa Fe, NM.
