Ruth Berg

Ruth Berg, 86, passed away March 31, 2018. She was born in 1931 in Chicago, IL to Louis and Valeria Kishkunas. Ruth attended Northern Illinois University graduating in June, 1952. Ruth married Richard Berg on June 11, 1952 at St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church in Key West, FL. Ruth and Richard moved to Albuquerque in 1955 and raised four children. She attended the Newman Center for 30 years and most recently attended John XXIII Catholic Community. Ruth taught piano and organ in Albuquerque for many years. She was also a weaver and a member of the Las Aranas Weavers Guild.

Ruth is survived by her beloved husband, Richard; her children, Bob (Vikki), Sue (Kevin), Mare (Lonnie), and Bill (Jackie). She was a beloved wife and mother and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
