Ruth Anderson, 88, beloved friend, was called to her eternal resting place on November 19, 2017. She entered this world on March 22, 1929 in Quincy, MA, born to Ralph and Eva Anderson. She is survived by her cousin, Betsy David; very special friends, Karen and David Ross, Margie and Tom Bass, as well as other special friends.
She lived in Mass., Fl., and Albuquerque, NM where she retired from Allstate insurance in 1991. She never married but she enjoyed the company of her parents and brother, Robert until their passing. She and her parents loved to travel and did visit many states over the years. She was a member of Rainbow Girls and a Past Worthy Matron of Eastern Star. She loved yard sales and slot games on her computer. She was a clown at times and had the most wonderful laugh. She kept her sense of humor up to the end. She will be missed and always remembered by her friends.
A special thanks to the doctors and nurses of the ER and ICU of Women's Lovelace Hospital for their concern and care of Ruth. She will be cremated and her cremated remains will be sent to Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody, Mass. to be buried in the family plot. There will be no memorial or services held in NM. Betsy David will officiate the service at Puritan Lawn.
