Russel H. Pidcoe

Age 94, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 10, 2014 with Edna, his wife of 55 years, by his side. He was born in Williamsport, PA to the late Mark and Edna Pidcoe. Along with his wife, Edna, he is survived by his sons, Russel W. Pidcoe of PA, and Mark Pidcoe (Jan) of CA; daughters, Barbara Brookhart (Jim) and Joan Yerg (Bob) of PA, Renee Atkerson (Jerry), Shirley VanWhy (Ron) and Rita Varley (Matt) of NM; 11 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. Russel is also survived by his brother, Harlan Pidcoe (Agnes); and sisters, Madeleine Swinehart and Rosanna Richart, all of PA. Russel served in the United States Army during WWII. He grew up in the Williamsport area and was the pastor of Calvary Mission when he joined the American Rescue Workers, which he brought to Williamsport, PA in 1958. Friends may visit FRENCH - University Sunday, September 14, 2014 from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Services will be held Monday, September 15, 2014, 2:00 p.m., at FRENCH - University.
