Rumalda Perea Torres

Age 86, a resident of Albuquerque, died Friday, January 2, 2014. She is survived by her children, Armida Torres of Kanas City, MO, Yvonne Sanchez and husband, Jacob of Tome, NM, Adella Cordona and husband, Alfonso, of Dickerson, TX, Sam Torres of Albuquerque, Edward Torres of Albuquerque, Anthony Torres and wife, Dawn of Belen, NM, and son, Alfred Torres of Albuquerque. She also leaves behind sixteen grandchildren, twenty one great-grandchildren, her daughter-in-law, Maxine Torres, as well as many other loving family members and friends. Rumy was preceded in death by her husband, Agapito Torres; father, Bautista Montoya Perea; mother, Edith Weist Garcia; and sons, Agapito and David Torres. She was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. A Rosary will be recited Tuesday, January 7, 2014, 6:00 p.m. at FRENCH - University. Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 8, 2014, 10:00 a.m. at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 1818 Coal Place SE. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Friends may visit prior to the Rosary from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
