Ruben Robert Ryuk Loya Jr.

Baby boy Ruben Robert Ryuk Loya Jr, gained his wings to heaven just two days shy of 9 months old on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 in Albuquerque, NM. Ruben was born on Friday, June 3, 2022 at 11:55 p.m. in Albuquerque, NM. He weighed 6 lbs and 14 ounces and was 19 inches long.
Ruben (Junior) Loya is the baby boy of Ruben Loya, Sr. and Ranael Upshaw; and baby brother to Raphael Loya, of Rio Rancho, NM. Ruben Junior was the blessing to our family and the product of pure love.

Though his time her on earth was short, baby Ruben taught us how to love endlessly and live fearlessly. Some of his favorite things were watching cartoons, listening to lullabies, singing with mommy, watching dad play rocket league, playing peek-a-boo with brother, chewing on fingers, cuddling with his plush rhino-dinosaur, and smiling endlessly. Juniors most favorite thing was to be hugged tightly, cuddled by mom and dad and tickled by family and friends. He loved eating his favorite foods like pizza, bacon, yogurt, pears, sweet potatoes, peaches, chicken and rice. Baby Ruben was so patient and content. He was a sweet happy baby, who brought so much joy to family, friends and strangers who loved him. At such a young age baby Ruben had such a big personality with an adorable toothless smile that would melt your heart and liven your spirits. He had the most beautiful laugh, that echoed through the house. His life here with us will always have purpose and will always be treasured. He will live on forever in our hearts and lives that we live. Baby Ruben will always be loved and forever missed.

A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, March 23, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at FRENCH- West side. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park in the Garden of Angels, located at 924 Menaul Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87107. Followed by a reception at FRENCH- West side reception hall located on 9300 Golf Course Rd NW.
