Roy L. Conner

Roy L. Conner, 76, died May 31, 2015. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Jean, son, Chris Freed; grandchildren Joseph and Crystal; great-grandchildren Joel and Joshua; sisters Lazetta Walsh, Joyce Barton and husband Bob and many other family and friends. Roy was preceded in death by his parents Robert "Pete" and Edna Conner and son James; his brothers Vernon, Lyle, Robert, James and Frank and his sister Evelyn Tomberlin. Roy was born in Oklahoma. He came to New Mexico and worked for Public Service Co of NM as an office manager and accountant before retiring after 29 years. During those years he served in the United States Army for two years. Roy was a genuine caring gentleman with a ready smile and a kind word for everyone. A celebration of life will be Friday, June 5, 2015, 2:00 p.m. at FRENCH - Lomas. Friends may visit from 1:00 p.m. until service time.
