Our father leaves a legacy of love for family, faith, and his Hispanic heritage. He served in the United States Marine Corps as a Private First Class. Our father taught us to go to church, go for wood, mix the masa for tamales, and share his love and gratitude for Hispanic traditions. He set the foundation for each of us to know what morals and values were and how to live a life of integrity. Our dad stayed true to his Catholic faith throughout is entire life and was a member of the Knights of Columbus where he served as a Fourth Degree Knight.
Our father often had “dichos” or sayings to advise us on our way. We will always remember “Not to take any wooden nickels.”
Our fathers love lives on in each and every one of us. A visitation will be held Monday, January 22, 2018 at 8:30 a.m. at FRENCH – Westside.
