Ross B. Garcia, age 86, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on December 15, 2018 where he was surrounded by his children, grandchildren and family.
He was born April 14, 1932 in the village of Manzano, NM. He served in the Navy during the Korean Conflict, worked as a Bus driver for 35 years for the City of Albuquerque where he met the love of his life and they were married for 53 years.
Ross was preceded in death by his sweetheart, Tersila "Terry" M. Garcia and his oldest son, Ross A. Garcia. He is survived by his daughter, Anna Watson and husband Kenneth; his son, Herman Garcia and wife Kirsten; his son, Andrew Garcia and wife Glenda; his daughter, Martha Garcia Perez; his grandchildren, Lisa, Cynthia and Samuel, Jessica, Jayson and Nicole, Charlie and Susan, Stacey, Rebekah, Elijah and Jessica, Chelsea and Carleigh; and his great-grandchildren, Gabrielle, Taylor, Ellyana, Dylann, Charlie and soon to be Joaquin Ross. Pallbearers are Lisa Romero, Rebekah Perez, Jayson Garcia, Charlie Walter, Elijah Perez, Cynthia Martinez and Samuel Martinez. Honorary Pallbearers are his brothers, Joe and Cesar Garcia.
Rosary will be recited Wednesday, December 19, 2018, 10:30 a.m. followed by the Mass being celebrated Wednesday, December 19, 2018, 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church, Lomas and Tennessee. Burial will follow services at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
