Rosetta Scales

Rosetta Mae Scales, aged 92, passed away Monday, February 24, 2025 at Lifespire Assisted Living Facility in Rio Rancho, New Mexico.

She was born December 24, 1932 in Ohio, the daughter of Milton A. and Hazel (Rader) Hunter who preceded her in death. On August 29, 1958, she married Alvin E. "Gene" Scales and he died December 28, 2004.

Rosy is survived by her three children; Michael Scales (Veronica), Ed Scales (Karen) and Jeannie McLean; her three grandchildren; Elissa Ravencrest (Estevan), Alex Scales and Vince McLean (Kaylee); her great-grandson Callan McLean; and her three sisters; Martha Miller, Lila Beers, and Jacque Webb.

She was preceded in death by her grandson Chance Scales and five sisters; Lavone Katter, Jeannie Chiles, Betty Lou Snider, Mary Ellen Barnes and Elaine Hunter.

She will be buried in the Santa Fe National Cemetery and there will be no memorial service.
