Longtime Albuquerque resident, Rosemary Brennan Glennon, died October 18, 2017, in Albuquerque. Born in Youngstown, OH, to William J. and Alice P. Brennan, she moved to Albuquerque with her family, including her grandfather, Fredric Perro, in 1929. The family lived briefly in El Paso, TX.

In 1944, she married Massachusetts native William E. Glennon, whom she met while he was stationed at Kirtland AFB. The two had three children and the family lived in Santa Fe for several years before returning to Albuquerque.

Mrs. Glennon was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Parish for several years and was a member of Immaculate Conception Parish for most of her life. She was a member of the St. Joseph’s Hospital Auxiliary, the Good Shepherd Center Auxiliary, where she volunteered for many years, and the Casa Angelica Auxiliary.

Mrs. Glennon was preceded in death by a son, Patrick F. Glennon; husband, William E. Glennon; parents, William J. and Alice P. Brennan; brother and sister-in-law, Wilfred and Margaret Brennan; and brother, Donald H. Brennan.

She is survived by her daughter, Kathleen Waterbury, and son-in-law, Thad Waterbury, both of Sonora, CA; son, Michael Glennon, and daughter-in-law, Karen Glennon, of Albuquerque, and daughter-in-law, Lyn Glennon, of Albuquerque; six grandchildren, Jude Waterbury and his wife, Timea, of Sacramento, CA, Mason Waterbury and his wife, Masako, of Kyoto, Japan, Zachary Bratun-Glennon of San Francisco, CA, Amanda Glennon Alvarez and husband, Carlos, of Albuquerque, Megan Glennon George and husband, Terry of Albuquerque, and Kiara Glennon and her fiancé, Juan Corona of Albuquerque; three great-grandchildren, Lillian Waterbury of Sacramento, CA, George Waterbury of Kyoto, Japan, and Xander Alvarez of Albuquerque; sister-in-law, Barbara Brennan of Albuquerque; and numerous nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.

Services will be private, and inurnment will be at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Donations in Mrs. Glennon’s memory may be made to the Good Shepherd Center, P.O. Box 749, Albuquerque, NM 87103.
