Roselyn "Roz" A. Strohl, a loving daughter, sister, mother, aunt, grandmother, passed away suddenly on Saturday, April 16, 2016. She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Lillian Albert; her husband, Merritt Barton "Bart" Strohl; and children, Mark T. Strohl and Barbara A. Ball.
She is survived by her brother, Harold B. Albert and wife, Carole; her children, William A. Strohl and wife, Annie, Joseph G. Strohl and wife, Nancy; grandchildren, Adam S. Ball, Alyssa J. Castillo, Jenny Smith, Tara Thomas, Shira Strohl and Barton Strohl; and her great-grandchildren.
Roz was born in Indianapolis, IN, in 1941 and came to Albuquerque in 1959. She had been active with B'Nai Israel sisterhood. She was an avid bridge player and a company player with ACLOA, Little Theatre, The Vortex, and Wool Warehouse. She was seen on stage with Shelly Berman, Anne B. Davis, and Bea Arthur.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, April 19, 2016, 2:00 p.m., at Fairview Memorial Park, 700 Yale Blvd SE. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Congregation B'Nai Israel, 4401 Indian School Rd NE, Albuquerque, 87110.
