Roseann Wilson, a beloved matriarch, passed away on Saturday, June 1, 2024, five days before turning 94, leaving behind a legacy of love and kindness. She is survived by her daughter, Marilyn Wilson Denison and Craig Barnes of Dallas, TX, her grandchildren Kristen Bowman and husband Stacey of College Station, TX, and Joe Denison and wife Ana of Irving, TX, as well as her great-grandchildren Amaya Bowman, Graylen Bowman, and Hayden Denison, along with numerous other cherished family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, James (Jim) Wilson, and her sons Gary Wilson and Paul Wilson, as well as her parents Abe and Anna Goldsmith. Her final farewell took place in an intimate graveside ceremony on Friday, June 7, 2024.
She was a nurse by profession and a caregiver by heart. She was always ready to support others and lend a helping hand.
A whirlwind of creativity that never slowed down, over the years you could find Roseann wielding piping bag for cakes, crafting intricate quilts, refining knitted sweaters, or whipping up culinary delights. Roseann’s creative spirit is a force to be reckoned with. When she was knee-deep in a project, she was brainstorming her next masterpiece. Between crafting projects, Roseann was playing the role of 'sag wagon' for Jim's bike adventures, revving up as the ultimate 'motorcycle mama' for her boys, or even cheerleading for her daughter’s gymnastic adventures. Never a dull moment with Roseann, she was a queen of cards among her gal pals, a grocery-shopping guru with special friends, and the purrfect host to her feline companions. And she found immense joy in her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
At 94, she's the beacon of inspiration, a testament to love and kindness, and the ultimate dispenser of giggles and laughter. In the boundless love of Jesus that illuminated her life, rather than mourning, let's honor Roseann by paying her kindness forward to one another, as it would have undoubtedly brought her joy.
