Rose Serafin Perez

Loving Mother, Grandmother, Daughter, Sister, Aunt and Friend. On August 17th, 2024, it's with great sadness to announce the passing of Rose Serafin Perez, age 65, a longtime resident of Albuquerque.

Rose is survived by her loving son, Christopher; grandchildren, Alejandro and Arianna Perez; mother, Prescilla Serafin; sister, Gloria Baros; and nieces and nephews, Eva Dodson and husband, Domenic, James Baros and wife, Sarah, Godson, Adam Baros and his partner, Christy Glandon, Steven Baros, Zechariah, Iliana, Elena and Cheyenne Dodson and Santiago and Rhea Baros. She is also survived by her best friend, Della Willis; and many friends and relatives. She was preceded in death by her longtime partner, Paul Sanchez; brother-in-law, Mike Baros; and her father, Rosendo Serafin.

Rose loved the 49ers and the San Francisco Giants. She loved family and friends, get togethers, family BBQ's and her oldies music. Rose graduated from Belen high school then earned her bachelor's degree in Business. She worked for USDA helping people buy homes.

Services will be Tuesday, August 27, 2024 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 309 Stover Ave. SW Albuquerque, NM. A viewing will be held 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m., rosary at 9:00 a.m. and funeral mass at 9:30 a.m. Burial to follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Adam Baros, Robert Sanchez, Bryan Sanchez, Johnathon Sanchez, Eric Sanchez, and Fermin Pino.
