February 23, 1932 — May 19, 2013

Beautiful age of 81, a longtime resident of Albuquerque and Rio Rancho originally from Pueblo, CO, passed away peacefully, on Sunday, May 19, 2013. She is survived by her children Jay D. Miller III "Sonny" and Judith E. Miller of Albuquerque, NM, Cheryl D. Williams of Las Cruces, NM, Cindy M. Vigil of Albuquerque, Jay D. Miller IV "JD" and Paula Marquez of Albuquerque, NM, granddaughter, who she and her husband raised, Charla L. Miller-Sanchez and Cesar Sanchez of Albuquerque, NM, eight additional grandchildren and their respective spouses, eight great-grandchildren, brother Edward DiSanti of Pueblo, CO; sister Louise and Dave Shank of Albuquerque, NM and numerous other family members. Rose Mary was preceded in death by husband Jay D. Miller Jr.; granddaughter Michelle Nicole Miller; great-grandson Max Miller; father Rocco DiSanti; mother Vera Rose Marino DiSanti; brother John L. DiSanti, sister-in-law Barbara DiSanti, nephew Rocky DiSanti and nephew Randall DiSanti. Rose Mary grew up in the farming community of Pueblo, CO. During her childhood, life included many memorable experiences with her beautiful and boisterous Italian family on the family farm. Some of which included helping her parents work in the vegetable fields, riding/driving tractors, and visiting with friends and neighbors. She also had a love for school and enjoyed being involved with cheerleading and the Pep Club. After high school, Rose Mary met, married her husband and moved to San Diego, CA. When his Navy enlistment ended, she and her husband went back to Pueblo, CO for a short period. Then moved to Albuquerque, where they settled and raised their family. Rose Mary chose banking as her first career then transitioned into helping her husband pursue several successful family business ventures and raising their family. During her precious life, Rose Mary enjoyed spending time with family and friends, sewing, crocheting, cooking and baking. For Rose Mary, the greatest joy and accomplishment in her life was her family. She loved each of them and enjoyed watching them find their happiness and success in life. There is no love like a mother's love. No stronger bond on earth. Like the precious bond that comes from God, to a mother, when she gives birth. A mother's love is forever strong, never changing for all time. When her children need her most, a mother's love will shine. When her days on earth are over, a mother's love lives on, through many generations, with God's blessings on each one. When you left this world you took a little piece of each of us with you. We will always love you and cherish your memory. A Rosary will be recited on Thursday, May 23, 2013 at 9:30am followed by Mass at 10:00 am at Holy Ghost Parish 833 Arizona St. SE. Interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE.
