Rose B. (Thomas) Abrams

Rose B. Thomas Abrams, a resident of Albuquerque, NM since 1964 passed from this life on Friday, July 6, 2018. She was born the ninth child of ten sisters and brothers to George Thomas and Goldie Merricks on January 8, 1932 in Greenville, MS. She graduated from Sacred Heart School, accepted Christ at a very young age.

Rose was preceded in death by both parents and all of her sisters and brothers. In later years, she moved to Los Angeles, CA where she met Larry C. Abrams and a marriage of 61 years brought to that union four sons, Michael F. (Roberta), Douglas G. (Roda), Laurence K. (Sharon) and Roderick Bruce (deceased). She leaves to remember her passing three sons, their wives, eight grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and a very special friend (like a sister) Ella Madison.

Services will be held on Friday, July 27, 2018, 10:00 a.m., at FRENCH – University. Interment will take place at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. The family wishes to thank you all for caring and may God bless you. A special thanks to all of the staff at FRENCH for their caring of Rose.
