Rosalio Baca Jr.

Rosalio Baca Jr., of San Mateo, NM, passed away Monday, September 9, 2019, surrounded by his children. He was born to parents, Rosalio Sr. and Ruma Baca of San Mateo, NM. He has five siblings; Gerald Baca (wife Magella Baca), Alice Bauman, Billy Baca (wife Lauren Baca) Damion Baca; and is preceded in death with his brother, Jimmy Baca.

He married Concha Magana and they had three children; Joshua Baca (wife Christa Baca), Erica Baca, and Sergio Baca. He has two grandchildren; Lyrica and Jacoby Baca. He also has  many beloved nieces and nephews.

Rosalio Baca Jr. served his country in the U.S. Army 3rd Infantry Division. He returned to his family to work in the Uranium Mines in Grants, NM. He provided a wonderful life for his children and, in later years, loved spending time with his grandson. Anyone who had the privilege of knowing JR knew his love for life and people. He would give you his last dollar if you needed it. He loved talking with anyone and everyone he came across. If you needed help, he would try his best to help you in any way he could. He was a friend to all and will be missed by many.
