Rosa Vigil

VIGIL, ROSA T.Age 64, of Albuquerque, passed away peacefully in her sleep, Saturday, December 22, 2012. Rosa was a 1966 graduate of Rio Grande High School. She worked as a operating room tech with BCMC, UNMH, St. Joseph Day-Surgery Center, and Health South Surgery Center. Rosa was devoted to her children and grandchildren and loved arts and crafts, beading jewelry, taking many pictures, and going to yard sales and craft shows. She is survived by sons, Mario (Stephanie) Vigil, Serlo (Valerie) Vigil; daughter, Sunny M. (Kevin) Vigil; mother, Charlotte Olguin; siblings, Andy (Rosa) Padilla, Bernie (Linda Fiscus) Salazar, Virginia (Modesto) Vialpando, Mary (Mike) Ruiz, Emiliano (Sylvia) Olguin, Cindee Archibeque, Yolanda Olguin, Janine Garcia; grandchildren, Samone Vigil, Esteban Gallegos, Mario Vigil, Serlo Nathan Vigil, Francisco Vigil, Mylee Vigil, Kevin Vigil Jr.; great-granddaughter, Amaya Leigh Valdez; numerous beloved nieces and nephews; and special friends, Margaret Martinez and Gene Saiz. Rosa was preceded in death by her father, Guillermo Padilla; son, Baby Boy Vigil; cousins, Johnny Saavedra, Teresa Benavidez; uncle, Guillermo Benavidez; niece Angel Archibeque. Services will be held on December 29, 2012, 10:00 am at French - Westside. Ennichement will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
