Ronald Earl Showalter

Ronald Earl Showalter, beloved father, grandfather, and great grandfather, age 79, went to be with his heavenly father and his wife, Mary Alice, on March 8, 2018.  Ronald Earl was born in Beatrice, Nebraska and a 46 year resident of Albuquerque, NM.  He is survived by his sons; Ronald, wife Donna, Bill, wife Kami, and Greg; grandchildren, Ryan, wife Tara, Kyle, wife Jordan, Tyler, wife Katelyn, Taylor, husband Michael, and Payton; great-grandchildren, Bentley, Jamison, Kennedy, Macy, and Rayne. Ronald is also survived by his brother, Gary and wife Susie.  Ron was a generous and compassionate friend, mentor, and was dedicated to his community. He had a quiet demeanor and when he spoke, it was with an intent.  Ron loved the Nebraska Cornhusker football Team, his Jaguar(s), the airline industry, and the church which he spent a greater part of 40 years devoting his heart and soul, serving as a deacon since 1981.  Family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of his life on Tuesday, March 13, 2018, 2:00 p.m., at Eastern Hills Baptist Church.  3100 Morris St. Albuquerque, NM 87111.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Eastern Hills Baptist Church.
