Ronald James McLaughlin

Ronald J. McLaughlin ,69, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, January 25, 2019.

He was born in Farmington, NM in 1949 to the late James McLaughlin and Edith New McLaughlin. Ronald graduated from Farmington High School and attended Eastern New Mexico University. He was a proud member of Sigma Chi fraternity. He moved to Albuquerque where he worked in the whole-sale liquor industry for 43 years. Many times during his career he was recognized as a top salesman. The family wants to recognize Southern Glazer’s Wine and Spirits for their support and commitment to Ron. They provided him the opportunity to continue to work and be a productive member of society. Ron took great pride in his job as a salesman, meeting the company’s and his customers’ needs was a priority. Ron retired December 3, 2018.

Ronald was married to his beloved wife, Sandy, for 26 years. They enjoyed their life together. Sandy passed away 2010. He passed away peacefully at home on January 25, 2019. He is survived by his sister, Nelda McLaughlin of Farmington; and sister-in-law, Marcia Miller of Albuquerque.

A Memorial Service will be held Friday, February 8, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at FRENCH – Lomas.
