Ronald Bruce Maestas

Ronald B. Maestas, 73, beloved father and grandfather was called home to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 16, 2023. Ron was born in 1949 in Albuquerque, NM, to Ralph and Lucy Maestas. He was a direct descendant (5th generation) of Martinez Town founders. Ron retired from the City of Albuquerque and was a proud board member of the Rio Grande Credit Union for over 25 years. Ron was a loving and devoted father to his children, Carlos Maestas and Claudia Otero. He loved attending sporting events and honoring the achievements of his grandchildren, Lawrence, Matthew, and Raquel Otero. Ron had many friends he loved and supported throughout their professional, personal, and political endeavors and lit up the room with his personality and charisma.

Services will be held Friday, April 14th, 2023, 10:00 a.m., Sagebrush Community Church, 6440 Coors Blvd. NW.
