Ronald Steve Delgado

Ronald "Ronny" Steve Delgado, 65, entered peacefully into the hands of the Lord on Friday, March 5, 2021. Ronny was born on October 4, 1955, in Sacramento, CA. His family relocated to El Paso, TX, where he spent the majority of his life before moving to Albuquerque, NM. He is survived by his father, Ray Delgado; his daughter Ronnica Noethlich (husband Gregory); his grandchildren Savannah, Benjamin and Sophia; and his brother Nick (wife Lupe) Delgado.  He is also survived by his stepdaughters, Eileen and Erica Torres and his dear friend, Barbara. He was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Serafina "Nina" Jacques Delgado and his brother, Lionel "Lonny" Delgado.

Ronny was passionate about his career in the produce business spending over 25 years dedicated to the Quality Fruit and Veg Co family business before relocating to Albuquerque to further his career, spending the last years of his life dedicated to Segovia's Distributing. His decades in the industry led to countless connections and friendships along the way. He was devoted to his Catholic faith, was an ACTS Brother, a life-saving sponsor to countless N.A. brothers and sisters, an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and a cigar aficionado. His friendship, generous heart and one-of-a-kind personality will be greatly missed by all who were fortunate to have known him.

Funeral services for Ronny will be held at St. Patrick Cathedral Catholic Church (1118 N. Mesa, El Paso, TX) on Monday, March 15th, 2021, beginning with the Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 10:00 a.m. with Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment will immediately follow at Chamberino Cemetery in Chamberino, NM.
