Roland Ray Pyle

Age 80, born in Jacksonville Texas April 26, 1933, son of John Henry Pyle and Rosie Pyle and a resident of Albuquerque since 1956, passed away on Tuesday, January 7, 2014. Roland is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Margaret Jane Pyle; children, (Daughter) Paula Williams and husband, Cord Williams, their children Margaret, Kaye, Beverly and Cordell; (Son) John Pyle, his children Alicia, Damir, Anthony, Daniyar and Aaron; (Daughter) Denise Pyle Ortiz and her children Caden and Curtis; (Daughter) Carla Castillo and her children Nicole, Crystal, Kayla and Rudy; (Daughter) Janice Sanchez and husband John P. Sanchez, their children Marlysa and David; (Son) Dennis Pyle and wife Sarah Pyle and children Dennis Jr., Dylan and Dereck. Roland was also a great-grandfather to eight great-grandchildren. Roland was preceded in death by his sister, Alline Richards and husband Donald Richards; as well as his pet companion, his dog Ginger. Roland Pyle was a Veteran of the Korean Conflict, a retired Yellow Freight truck driver, a Rancher and a Farmer but his passion was his Real Estate Investing. We thank God for the gift of his life and the blessing of the time we spent with him, he will be dearly missed. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2014, 10:00 a.m., at FRENCH - University. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. Friends and family are invited to a visitation at FRENCH - University on Friday, January 10, 2014, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
