Roger Garcia

Roger Garcia, 45, a Firefighter of Albuquerque, NM, passed away on March 20, 2017. Roger was very passionate about being a Firefighter and serving his community. His affection was reflected in the love he shared with his family and friends. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Lewis Gallegos; brother-in-law, Lorenzo Teupell; and step-father, Greg Thompson. He is survived by his wife, Andrea Teupell-Garcia; his daughters, Savannah, Gianna and Lola; his son, Anthony; grandmother, Betty Gallegos; mother, Patricia Thompson; brother, Casey and sister-in-law, Francine; nephew, Gage and niece, Adalyn; father-in-law, Lorenzo Teupell and mother-in-law, Tisha Teupell; sisters-in-law, Armelina, Melissa and LaShay; brother-in-law, Jonathan Teupell and fiancée, Nicole; as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, dear friends and colleagues.

Roger was born on May 19, 1971 in Albuquerque, NM. He worked the majority of his life in fire service with The Albuquerque Fire Department, Station 20, as well as his family's construction business, New Mexico Underground. He spent time as a full-time firefighter, husband and father. Roger enjoyed working out and was well known for his generosity. Roger will be missed by all who knew this kind-hearted man.

Visitation for Roger will be held Tuesday, March 28, 2017, 5:00 - 7:00 p.m., at FRENCH - Wyoming. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 29, 2017, 10:00 a.m., at Legacy Church East Campus, 4701 Wyoming Blvd. NE. The Last Alarm Apparatus for Roger will follow as he is laid to rest at Mount Calvary Cemetery, 1900 Edith NE.
