IN LOVING MEMORY OF RODNEY EARL PLAGMANN
Born Wednesday, December 5, 1945, in Canada and passed away on Wednesday, September 11, 2019, at 10:19 p.m. in the arms of his family who poured love and prayers around him as he took his final breath.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Emogene Bailey. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Lou Ellen Harris Plagmann; his girls, Yvonne Kalcich, (Chuck) and Kathleen Childs, (Jay); his three grandsons, Ryan Kalcich, Dylan Childs, Luke Childs; granddaughter, Malia Kalcich who were the sparkle in his blue eyes; his two brothers, Rick Plagmann, (Karen) and Bob Plagmann, (Bev); sister-in-law, Lucille Smith and nieces and nephews.
He danced his way to heaven after working many years as an accountant, an HR representative and a director of food services. He was raised in Montana where he acquired his love for horses and the outdoors.
He has resided in Albuquerque for 49 years. After many years dedicated to work, he retired and enjoyed the grandkids, the lake house, fishing, boating, reading, helping friends, getting bargains at yard sales and constantly tinkering in his garage. He was finally able to truly enjoy life with his wife and do his favorite things. His smile, laugh, selfless giving, and love will forever warm our hearts. His legacy will be in all of our tomorrows. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, September 20, 2019, 5:00 p.m. at FRENCH-Westside.
