Rochelle "Shelly" Farmer

FARMER, ROCHELLE "SHELLY" Age 70, a thirty year resident of New Mexico, went home to be with her Lord Jesus Thursday, September 12, 2013. She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Loren "Rusty" Farmer of Rio Rancho; daughters, Jacque Woods and husband, Bill of Albuquerque, Jamie Weasel and husband, Dobie of Omaha, NE, Jodi Tomhave and husband, Jerry of Rio Rancho; son, Chad Farmer of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Connie Lopez and husband, Jim, Pastor John Weasel and wife, Angel, Dr. Jacob Weasel and wife, Lauren, Jordan Faust and husband, Joey, Madden Tomhave, and Miranda Wachtler; 11 great-grandchildren, Jaeger, Jackson, Alexis, Jayce, Isaiah, Carter, Jewell, Leighton, Judah, Isabelle, and Colby; and brothers, Cyril "Jerry" Rousseau and wife, Jeannie, Camille "Buddy" Rousseau and wife, Darla, Melvin Rousseau, and Ron Sieler. Mrs. Farmer was preceded in death by her father, Camille Rousseau; mother, Mildred Sieler; step-father, Richard Sieler; and son, Brian Wachtler. Shelly worked for and retired from the US Federal Government. She was very active in her church ministries. Mrs. Farmer loved playing the guitar, singing, and being surrounded by her family and friends. Shelly's life will be celebrated on Monday, September 16, 2013, 10:00 a.m., at Grace Outreach Center, 2900 Southern Blvd SE, with Pastor Dobie Weasel officiating. Interment will take place at Ridgeview Cemetery, Eagle Butte, South Dakota. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Teen Challenge of New Mexico, PO Box 20610 Albuquerque, NM 87154.
