Robin Lynn Perini

Robin Lynn Perini was born on Monday, March 29, 1965, in Boulder, Colorado and passed away Tuesday, January 10, 2023, in Albuquerque, NM after a short illness. She grew up in Hobbs, NM where she excelled as a student and swimmer. She graduated Valedictorian of her high school class in 1983 and held the school back stroke record in swimming for 15 years.

Robin went on to the University of Oklahoma where she earned her degree in Biochemistry. Upon graduating with Honors, she attended Medical School at the University of New Mexico for three years before deciding she wanted a more diversified lifestyle. Her passion was writing, and she has had 16 mystery/romance novels published. All toll, these books have sold over a million copies. In the meantime, she earned her master’s degree in Business Management Technology. Her full-time job has been with Sandia Laboratories in Albuquerque, NM.

Robin is survived by her dad, Dale, of Albuquerque, NM and her brother, Steve (Jodi), her nieces, Haley Lynn and Lanie Grace, and her nephew, Hayden Dale, all of Fayetteville, GA as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. Her mom, Karen Carder Perini, preceded her in death by only 20 days She was also preceded in death by her grandparents, Armando and Hazel Perini of Carlsbad, NM and Earl and Gennie Carder of Paoli, OK.

Robin’s Memorial Service will be on Saturday, January 28, 2023, 11:00 a.m. at St. Stephen’s United Methodist Church, 4601 Juan Tabo Blvd, NE in Albuquerque, NM.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations in memory of Robin be made to CARC, Inc., PO Box 1808,  Carlsbad, NM 88221-1808, a home for special needs individuals which was organized and developed by Robin’s Aunt and Uncle, Bob and Barbara Forrest of Carlsbad.
