Robin Demmert Baker

Robin was born in Fort Defiance, Arizona on January 23, 1976. He passed away on February 5, 2025, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He had just turned 49 years old, 2 weeks prior. Son of John E. Baker, Jr., and Lillian Demmert Baker. His tribal affiliations are Southern Ute and the Tlingit Native American Indian Tribes.

Robin graduated with an associate degree from Central New Mexico Community College with a degree in Carpentry and Building Construction in Albuquerque, New Mexico on May 4, 2024. Robin was self-employed as a landscaper. He enjoyed building projects and accrued a large customer base as a landscaper. He spent time in Craig, Alaska fishing on his grandfather's boat, the Billy and I, with his family. Robin enjoyed being outdoors and sports. He was an avid fan of his favorite NFL team, Las Vegas Raiders.

He had some interesting tattoos and people often misinterpreted them, but underneath it all, he had a big warm heart and was always willing to help others.

Robin is survived by his father, John E. Baker, Jr.; stepmother, Ida Harrison-Baker; brother, Clinton Baker; sisters, Tyler Baker (Travis) and Ciara Thompson (Tyson). Also surviving are his "critters" niece, Tatiyana; and nephew, Josiah. Robin is also survived by his uncle, Mac Demmert, and cousins, Nicole, Sarah, Cecily, and Luke Demmert, and Andre Salazar. Robin has extended family and friends in Colorado and Alaska. He was preceded in death by his mother, Lillian Demmert Baker; brother, Eric Baker; his paternal grandparents, John E. Baker, Sr. and Gladys Black; grandparents, Arthur Demmert, Sr. and Virginia Demmert of Craig, Alaska.

A service will be held Friday, February 14, 2025, 10:00 a.m., at FRENCH - University, with a reception to follow.
