Robert "Bob" Lee Raybould

Robert "Bob" Lee Raybould, age 64, passed away on Thursday, May 13, 2021 after a brief battle with cancer.

He was born to Benjamin and Edith Raybould. Bob is survived by his wife of 35 years, Heidi; daughters, Kelsey and Kendra; siblings, David (wife Linda), Mark, and Lisa Dalton (husband Mark); nieces and nephew, Mallory, Megan, Ben, and Kathryn; and his great nieces, Marlowe and Juniper. Bob was also blessed with a large extended family and many good friends.

Hoffmantown was his home church and he enjoyed the friendships he made there. Bob graduated from Sandia High School in 1976 and attended Albuquerque T-VI and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He worked in residential and commercial painting, maintenance, and construction; as a Journeyman Electrician; as a substitute house parent at children's homes; and did home and yard maintenance for the elderly.  As his parents aged, Bob and his family moved in with them to help out so that they could remain in their home. Ben and Ede welcomed Bob with open arms as they preceded him in passing.

Wherever he lived, Bob loved getting to know his neighbors and was happiest when helping others and fixing things. The great outdoors was a place of tranquility and joy for him from the time he spent on his grandparents' ranch near Roy, NM to camping and hiking across the beautiful Rocky Mountains.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, June 5, 2021, 11:00 a.m. at FRENCH - Lomas.

For those who are unable to attend, the service will be streamed on the FRENCH website. Interment will follow at Sandia Memory Gardens. Honorary Pallbearers: John Scruggs, Bruce Wright, Russell Wright, and Shannon McReynolds.
