Beloved brother, son, uncle, and friend, Robert Carl Skrivseth, age 65, passed away the evening of Dec. 26, 2015 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He will be deeply missed by all.
Bob was born in Dallas, Texas July 4, 1950. He is survived by his sister, Theresa (John Dyer) Skrivseth, of Brookfield, Wisconsin; his brother, Gregory (Shirley) Skrivseth, of Bellevue, Iowa; and his sister, Joan Skrivseth, of Orlando, Florida. Bob is also survived by his nieces, Rachel (Mark) Bloodworth, and Nicole (Cory) Bassing and his nephews Michael (Tanya) Skrivseth, Daniel Skrivseth, Eric Skrivseth, and Ian Skrivseth, as well as two great-nephews Alex Bloodworth and Elway Bassing. Bob had numerous friends in the Albuquerque area.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Lorna Skrivseth, his sister, Christine Easterle, his brother-in-law Mark Easterle, and his brother, Richard Skrivseth.
Bob was a graduate of New Mexico Highlands University with a bachelor's degree in physics. His work life was mainly in the cable industry. Over time he worked for many companies doing a wide variety of jobs around the country.
Throughout his life, Bob had a variety of interests. One of Bob's main interests was his love of cooking a wide variety of cuisines. He enjoyed reading as widely as he cooked and ate. In recent years, he was expanding his gardening skills, particularly with cooking herbs. This past summer he became interested in furniture refinishing.
A visitation and memorial service will be held on December 31, 2015, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at FRENCH - Wyoming.
