Born August 13, 1954, joined his savior Sunday, July 20, 2014. Rob is survived by his mother, Pauline E. Seay; his brother, Mike and sister-in-law, Cindy; brother, Don and sister-in-law, Terri; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, James R. Seay. He was born in San Antonio, TX, but moved to Albuquerque, NM at a young age, where he stayed. He was a UNM Alumni, a huge fan of the Lobo men's basketball team, and attended all of their games. His passion was cars, but most of all anything related to Carroll Shelby. He was a member of the Shelby American Automobile Club and attended as many Shelby meets as he could. Though Rob never married, he was very close to his family. They were his world. His mother, Pauline, brother, Mike, and his sister-in-law, Cindy, did many things together. Rob's "children," were his two nieces, Sheena and Alysa. There wasn't a thing in the world he wouldn't do for them. He was also very close to Sheena's boyfriend, Ben, and Alysa's husband, Ryan. The entire family had dinner every Sunday for the last 30 years. Rob was also very proud to have been saved and baptized by his friend, Reverend David Bachelor. He was loved by so many people, great at trivia, and never failed to make you laugh. He touched our lives in so many ways and he is going to be missed greatly. Please join us in celebrating his life on Saturday, July 26, 2014, 1:30 p.m. at FRENCH - Lomas, reception immediately following. Rob's great-niece, Hannah, who he loved unconditionally, was born with Down syndrome. In lieu of flowers, please send donations in Hannah's name to The Rio Grande Down Syndrome Network, RGDSN PO Box 6759 Albuquerque, NM 87197.
