Memorial Service for Robert R. Rottman, 71, of Albuquerque, New Mexico; who passed away on Sunday, August 3rd, 2014, at his home, will be at 10:00 am Saturday, October 11, 2014 at FRENCH-Lomas Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE. Robert was born in Mojave, California to Robert David and Eunice (Adams) Rottman. Robert was always a loving son, father, and good friend to many he knew. Robert had a generous and loving heart, always willing to do what he could within his capacity. He is survived by his best friend, Marianita E. Gorman; his former wife, Linda Mae Griffin; his three sons, John Wesley, Paul David, and Daniel William Rottman; his grandchildren, Kristian Alexander Mahooty, Jeremy Sebastian and Dylan Anthony Rottman, and Gavin Tyler Casey-Rottman; his great grandchild, Bailee Grace Reimers; and many extended family members and close friends including Mitchell, Forrest, and Terrell Mike, and Melvin Sebastian Mike. Through the course of his life, Robert attended Yuba City Community College and Central New Mexico Community College where he worked to complete his Associates degrees for Paralegal and Electronics programs. Robert was involved in Toastmasters where he received numerous awards in public speaking. Prior to his retirement Robert used his knowledge base at Motorola and Cardinal Health. Robert was as an aspiring writer and playwright, with several published works, one of which was an award-winning play that was performed in Santa Fe. He was an avid movie watcher and liked to read anything from current events to biographies. Robert lived a full life, was dearly loved and will be missed by those that knew him.
