Robert Howard "Bob" Rogers

Robert Howard "Bob" Rogers Jr., 72, passed away February 10, 2017. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Eileen Rogers; his son, Robert Howard Rogers III; and daughter, Lisa Gillespie. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Eric Gillespie, Ashley Schultz and Joshua Miller; as well as other loving family members, Tom and Kim Miller, Carol and Jim Grossman and Richard and Fran Skinner. Bob served his country and state both as a United States Marine and a New Mexico State Police Officer. His spirit of service also continued as a volunteer at Lovelace Hospital helping those in need. Bob was a lover of animals and raised many dogs over the years. He always had the ability to make people laugh and smile by keeping them on their toes with his jokes.
Private cremation arrangements have taken place. Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to Animal Humane New Mexico, The Albuquerque Bio Park or the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
